Sweden’s first clothing library, Lånegarderoben, is just like that of a regular library: the clothing library is stocked with current clothing and members simply borrow and return, eliminating the “need” to buy what’s hot right now while helping you to stay in style. The idea is to be able to renew your wardrobe without contributing to increased consumption.
Let’s face it, keeping your wardrobe up to date leads to irresponsible consumerism. People buy what’s hot now, wear it a few times, and move on. Concepts like this will help consumers adopt a more sustainable approach to fashion. We’re a fan!

This is probably the manliest thing I’ve seen in a long time. Bravo, sir!

Check out this little guy! What a creative way to grow herbs or small flowers using an eggshell as biodegradable planter.
It is all very simple: Fill the egg shell with potting soil, add the seeds of your choice and water. Make sure to keep the seeds nice and wet for optimal growth. If you want to make things a bit more advanced, you can paint a funny face on the shell and decorate as you wish. When the plants get too big for the shells, you can transplant them straight to the soil, shell and all. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter/Passover weekend!

Scandinavian Trends We Love: High Ceilings & Natural Sunlight
This beautiful style with elements of dark wood, soft pillows and a hint of hunting lodge, takes big step forward. We love the idea of a secluded place where you pull away with loved ones over the weekend. It’s comfortable and free — just the place we want to be.

Fashion designers come and go, but only a few can win approval from the critics year after year like Sweden’s Ida Sjöstedt. Rather than following prevailing trends, she goes her own way with designs ranging from the romantic and girlish to glamor and glitter bordering on kitsch.
Watch in the video above as film maker and director Gary Fabbri visits Ida in her studio space.

My dream would be to have a home office like one of these. A Jacobsen chair, classic desk light and lots of inspiring prints on the wall.
What would your ultimate work space look like?

It’s almost spring (but it’s still darn cold out) which means summer is still a distance away. But we can dream, can’t we? That’s where this song from the Malmö based band Summer Heart comes in.
In need of some warmth? Listen to “Please Stay”:

It’s supposed to hit a high of 76 degrees today… Yup, we’re pretty much ecstatic! There’s nothing like the first beautiful day in April.
Be sure to take a moment to stop and smell the roses…

No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow…
